Aberdaron
Aberdaron is a picturesque village 10 miles west of Sarn. This is a popular seaside village in the spring and summer, with beach-goers, surfers and day trippers. From nearby Porth Meudwy you can catch the ferry to Ynys Enlli.
Pwllheli
A visit to Pwllheli's local outdoor market held on Wednesdays and Sundays is a must.This 600 year old traditional market which is held in the town square comes alive with chitter-chatter and bargain hunters. For sailors and boat enthusiasts, the marina, which is located on the edge of town, holds several international water sport events throughout the year. For those who prefer a more leisurely-active holiday, then there are a few golf courses in the vicinity (9 miles from Bodlondeb).
Porthdinllaen
is
a small coastal village in Morfa Nefyn 12 miles away (originally a
fishing port, based around a natural harbour).Visitors must walk
across the beach or down through the golf course to reach this pretty
little hamlet. The Ty Coch Inn which sits directly on the beach
serves food and drinks and holds live music events in the summer.
Porthmadog
on
the A487 is a popular tourist destination 20 miles from Abersoch. You
can catch the Cambrian Coast line from Pwllheli to Porthmadog or
onwards to Machynlleth .
